Story and Narrative Rationale

For my piece I used the conspiracy theory that Dinosaurs never went extinct, they still live amongst us today, as ninjas, masters of hiding in plain sight.

To demonstrate this I wanted to show a couple on holiday having a photo taken of them at various recognizable locations, and at each there is a dinosaur somewhere in the background.

I wanted people viewing to do a double take, initial glances would show only a couple on holiday, but when you look again, there are some comical badly hidden Ninja dinosaurs.

These photos were put on a landscape “Bookface” (wink wink) feed so as to show how one would discover the dinosaurs as well as maximising the potential of each image as a whole, and bringing them all together nicely.

The two main ideas that I was running with when I went digital was the Ninja dinosaurs, and the idea of the greek gods slaying the dinosaurs. I went through different iterations of these ideas and ways to approach them.
